While everyone is out there experiencing Christmas, I am at home bleaching the front part of my head. I have some Special Effects Fish Bowl in the closet still, so I thought I might as well use it while I wait for my Wella Blondor Extra Cool bleach, Pillarbox Red and Atlantic Blue to arrive from the UK. Came across some old pics of mine where I had turquoise hair and bangs (and a boyfriend), and I realised I spent so much more time on looking good 2 years ago. As I contemplate on the year(s) that had passed, I decided that I shall reclaim the good parts of my old self, minus the negativity that plagued me for the past few years. Soon, it will be a goodbye for 2011 and I will vow once again to start anew. I did not define my 2011 goals; in fact, I left it as ambiguous as possible. It was a “Lose Weight”, “Stop being miserable” and “Focus on the music”. It feels nice to have achieved half of my resolutions. I shall spend more time thinking about what I want in 2012. That is, if the Mayan predicted it wrongly and we’re all stil around. Original Article
